A miniseries about women of color running for, and winning, elected office. I produced all four episodes of the show.

The Dough, Seasons 1 and 2 (2023-2024)

A comedy show featuring weird stories about money. I wrote scripts for noted comedian X Mayo (The Daily Show, The Blackening). I also wrote the show bible, and produced 7 episodes, including episodes about Black Olympians and unionized strippers. I also contributed to dialogue mixing and sound design on a number of episodes.
 

The Defenders, Season 1 (2023)

A show about the fight for reproductive freedom in a Post-Roe America. #1 on the Apple Podcasts Society and Culture Chart. I researched and wrote explainer monologues for Samantha Bee (Full Frontal, The Daily Show) on 7 episodes, as well as producing the trailers for the show.

Blind Plea (2023)

A show about a Black woman who killed her abusive white boyfriend and went to jail for it. #1 on the Apple Podcasts chart, Silver Medal for True Crime at the 2023 Signal Awards. I served as an associate producer on all episodes, conducting original reporting on the Alabama criminal justice system, writing scripts, and doing dialogue editing. I also produced the trailers and the series finale.

SALT Institute for Documentary Studies (2022)

I studied narrative audio storytelling with Chiquita Pascal (Louder Than A Riot, Uncivil) and Isaac Kestenbaum (Midnight Son). My projects included an experimental documentary on a shipwreck, a profile of a survivor of the Waco siege, and an investigation into a campaign finance scandal bridging Maine and Hawaii.

A historical biography show co-hosted with history professor Adam Franti. We focus on the stories of men-at-arms throughout history and what they can teach us about masculinity in their historical context.

A show about minnesota history and culture. I produced and engineered a number of episodes, including Doc Ames and Mr. Hyde, MinneCultured, The Not-Springs of Mankato, MN, and Painting the Walls Black: Chaka Mkali Challenges Traditional Notions of Curatorial Work.
